Terms of Service

Last updated August 2026

This page reflects how the site actually works today, but it has not been reviewed by a lawyer yet. It should be before The Weekly Timekeeper takes real payments, facilitates high-value transactions through the Concierge Desk at scale, or handles sensitive data at scale.

Overview

These terms govern your use of The Weekly Timekeeper, including the newsletter, the Playbook courses, Watch Prices, the Concierge Desk, The Oracle, Interviews, and the Community. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to these terms.

The Weekly Timekeeper is operated by The Weekly Timekeeper FZ-LLC, a company licensed with the Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ) in the United Arab Emirates under licence number 45038994, registered at Office VUNE2963, Compass Building, Al Hulaila Industrial Zone-FZ, Al Hulaila, Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. References to “we,” “us,” or “our” in these terms mean that entity.

The Weekly Timekeeper draws its name and spirit from Arjan Watches, a shop that traded watches for many years before this site existed. The Weekly Timekeeper is a distinct, newly formed business — it is not the legal continuation of, and is not legally affiliated with, Arjan Watches, and does not assume any of that earlier business's obligations, liabilities, or agreements.

Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for the activity that happens under your account. Let us know right away if you think your account has been accessed without permission.

The Concierge Desk

The Concierge Desk connects members looking to buy or sell a watch with our network of dealers and collectors, and negotiates on your behalf. Submitting an inquiry does not guarantee a sale, a purchase, a specific price, or any particular outcome — it starts a private conversation with our desk.

We take reasonable care in facilitating these introductions, but we do not independently authenticate, inspect, or guarantee the condition of any watch discussed or exchanged through the desk. Any resulting transaction is between you and the counterparty, and you should independently verify authenticity and condition before completing any purchase or sale. Details you submit through an inquiry, including any photo, are used only to evaluate and respond to that inquiry.

Subscriptions and Billing

Paid plans (Reader and Inner Circle) are billed monthly or annually, in advance, through our payment processor, Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method for each billing period until you cancel.

Auto-renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period — monthly for a monthly plan, annually for an annual plan — at the then-current price for your plan, unless you cancel before the renewal date.

How to cancel. You can cancel anytime from your account page, which opens Stripe's secure billing portal — no need to email us. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep access through the end of the period you've already paid for, and are then moved to the Free plan.

Refunds. If you request one within 48 hours of starting a new subscription, we'll refund it in full — email hello@theweeklytimekeeper.com. After that window, payments are non-refundable, including for partial billing periods, though if something has genuinely gone wrong on our end we'll still look at it — see our Refund & Cancellation Policy for details.

Price changes. If we change the price of a plan you're subscribed to, we'll email you at least 30 days before it takes effect. The new price applies starting with your next renewal after that notice period — not retroactively.

Not Financial Advice

Watch Prices, the Playbook, The Oracle, the Concierge Desk, and the newsletter are provided for information and education. They are not financial, investment, or legal advice, and The Weekly Timekeeper is not a financial advisor. Decisions about buying, selling, or holding watches are yours to make, and you should use your own judgment.

Content and Intellectual Property

The newsletter issues, Playbook courses, interviews, and other content on this site belong to The Weekly Timekeeper unless stated otherwise. You may not republish or resell this content without permission.

Acceptable Use

Do not use the site to break the law, infringe on anyone's rights, attempt to access accounts or data that are not yours, or disrupt the service for other members.

Termination

You may stop using the site or close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that violates these terms.

Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

The site is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent allowed by law, The Weekly Timekeeper is not liable for losses arising from your use of the site, reliance on its content, or any transaction facilitated through the Concierge Desk.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of the site is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ras Al Khaimah, UAE.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as the site and its features change. We will update the date at the top of this page when we do.
